This is one movie I failed to see during its theatrical run in 1979. The title baffles me? What is really the "secret" of Guadalupe? Could it be a buried treasure? I hope to catch it in succeeding telecast of Cinema FPJ or at SkyCable Cinema One.

LOBBY CARD # 11: "KING" (1978)

With a wooden club as his only weapon, Fernando Poe, Jr. takes on and easily subdues a band of hired goons out to finish him off in FPJ Productions’ action film, King. It reminds me of a 1973 movie, Walking Tall, wherein the lead character Sheriff Pusser (played by Joe Don Baker) uses a wooden club or a baseball bat to demolish his foes.

"ISANG BALA KA LANG, Part One " (1983) FILM CLIP UPLOADED

Just uploaded a film clip of the 1983 movie, Isang Bala Ka Lang, Part One. It's a scene wherein FPJ, his ego shattered, evened up with his tormentors with his rapid-punching, fist-lightning and fighting skills. It's FPJ at his best! "UMPISAHAN MO... TATAPUSIN KO!" FILM CLIP JUST UPLOADED

A six-minute climax scene of the 1983 movie, "Umpisahan Mo...Tatapusin Ko!" just uploaded at You Tube. The movie earned Fernando Poe, Jr. his fourth Famas Best Actor trophy. "TO SUSAN WITH LOVE" (1968)

"To Susan with Love", a popular DZRH radio program, was made into a movie with four episodes: First Episode: "Katrina" with Ramil Rodriguez; Second Episode: "Believe It or Not" with Eddie Mesa; Third Episode: "Akala Mo Yata" with Joseph Estrada; Fourth Episode: "Mapagbiro ang Pag-ibig" with Fernando Poe, Jr. It was released in 1968 under Rosas Productions with Luciano B. Carlos directing.

"THE RAVAGERS" (1965)

This movie was released locally in 1965 with two titles: "Only The Brave Knows Hell" (English Version) and "Hanggang May Kalaban" (Tagalog Version). For international and worldwide release, it was known as "The Ravagers." The movie, which also starred John Saxon, was one of the two international movies made by FPJ; the first one was "Walls of Hell" (1964) with Jock Mahoney.

"ANDALUCIA" (1976) NOW AVAILABLE

Andalucia (1976)- Stars Fernando Poe, Jr., Gloria Diaz, Vivian Velez, Walter Navarro, Victor Bravo, Leopoldo Salcedo, Anita Linda and Paquito Diaz/ Directed by Ronwaldo Reyes

Believed lost but not forgotten, fans will be glad to hear that the 1976 movie, “Andalucia” is out in the market and is now available in VCD format only. The movie, produced by LEA Productions, tells of Eliseo, a former policeman and a monk, played by Fernando Poe, Jr., who seeks refuge in a monastery in a secluded town of Andalucia. He blamed himself for the death of his brother and isolates himself from the tragic past. While staying in the monastery, a group of bandits led by Gardoso (Paquito Diaz) looted the place and killed all in sight. Eliseo survived the massacre and vowed for revenge. An epic FPJ movie fans will enjoy watching. The movie, directed by Ronwaldo Reyes, was shot entirely in Ilocos Norte and starred beauteous Gloria Diaz, their first movie together.
