CARLO J. CAPARAS' "ANG PANDAY"

Voted as QTV's No.1 "Ang Pinaka-Paboritong Movie ni FPJ" (The Favorite Movies of FPJ), Ang Panday was FPJ's official entry in the 1980 Metro Manila Film Festival. It went on to bag the festival's top grosser and once again reaffirmed FPJ's stature as the filmdom's top moneymaker and undisputed top box-office star. The movie was adapted from a popular Pilipino Komiks serial novel by veteran writer-director Carlo J. Caparas. The first issue came out in March 19, 1979 and became an instant hit among komiks readers.

Here's the first two issues of that much talked-about novel that made the name Carlo J. Caparas a household name up to this time.
