"ANG PANDAY" (1980) AT CINEMA FPJ, SEPT.20
All-time favorite, the 1980 adventure movie, Ang Panday, that year's filmfest top grosser, will be shown this Saturday, September 20, at Cinema FPJ, 4 pm on ABS-CBN-Channel 2. The movie starred FPJ, Liz Alindogan, Paquito Diaz, Lito Anzures, Bentot Jr. and Max Alvarado as the evil Lizardo. . Based from the novel by Carlo J. Caparas and directed by the king himself, Ronwaldo Reyes. Watch it!!!
'ang panday'is one of the best films of fpj. he looked very good on screen, and he must have been in the toppest shape ever! you would always anticipate the next scene , the movie blended well with the times then... the few last years of the marcos regime (personified by lizardo). on the other hand, liz alindogan was at her freshest! i never thought she was that pretty and did fairly well in the acting department. a memorable film, a classic on its own genre!
