Sometime in 2004, FPJ asked Manny Pacquiao to be his next screen partner. The FPJ- Pacquiao movie, which would have been an ambitious dream project, was temporarily shelved to give way for "Pakners," FPJ's last movie, teaming Da King with billiards legend Efren 'Bata' Reyes.
