Saan Mang Sulok ng Daigdig tells of Marcos San Diego (Fernando Poe, Jr.), a mysterious young man and a former guerilla fighter, who along with his nine colleagues, fought the Japanese Imperial forces in the town of Masili during World War II. After the war, Marcos, the only survivor, returned in incognito, to witness the unveiling of a monument honoring the heroics of these gallant men. During his brief stay in the town, a group of notorious bandits (Van de Leon and company) came and terrorized the whole town. He encountered the group in some instances, bullying him and each time did nothing and just ignored them and remained mum and silent. He was branded a coward for not making a stand. Soon afterward, he rose to the occasion and as what he did during the war, he started annihilating the enemies one by one.

"KUMANDER FIDELA" (1964): WISH LIST # 2

Kumander Fidela was based on the radio serial by Agustin B. dela Cruz and aired over DZRH in 1964. The movie, directed by Pablo Santiago under the banner of Larry Santiago Productions, starred Fernando Poe, Jr., Willie Sotelo, Helen Gamboa, Jerry Pons, Boy Franscisco and Jose Romulo with the special participation of Van de Leon, Johnny Monteiro and Ramon Revilla.

FPJ, in the role of a military officer, was feared dead by the authorities during one of the many fierce encounters with the dissidents. Badly injured from head wound and suffering from amnesia, FPJ gradually recuperated and was brainwashed. Another FPJ movie in my wish list!

"SUTLANG BAKAL" (1960): WISH LIST # 1

Sutlang Bakal, based on the story by Jose Miranda Cruz, electrified thousands of radio fans when it was aired over DZAQ in 1960. The movie, produced under the banner of Larry Santiago Productions, starred Fernando Poe, Jr., Cecilia Lopez , Ben Perez and Leroy Salvador, with Pablo Santiago directing.
