In 1962, action superstar Fernando Poe, Jr. starred in the movie Apollo Robles. Since the picture was about a struggling boxer, the production staff headed by Director Gerry de Leon opted to consult boxing champ Flash Elorde on some boxing tips and pointers and assist them in some critical boxing scenes to make the movie more realistic.
Those pointers became very crucial later in many fight scenes the actor made in his movies. He integrated part of Elorde’s styles and techniques to his own styles and came up with a unique “FPJ rapid and lightning punches” we all know. They later starred and teamed up in a 1964 movie, Mano-Mano.
Mano-Mano (1964)- Stars Fernando Poe, Jr., Flash Elorde, Paquito Diaz, Lito Anzures, Pablo Virtuoso, Dencio Padilla, Victor Bravo, Vic Varrion, with Rebecca, Mila Montanez/ Directed by Efren Reyes

SIMON,SAN AKO MAKAKABILI NG MOVIES NA ITO,THX.
Hi Neto! Naghahanap din ako. Wait na lang tayo sa Cinema One. Mukhang palalabasin nila ito, nasa archive naman ito ng FPJ Productions.
this is surely one classic! i remember watching it on tv as a child during late 70's on channel 9 and in the 90's i remember channel 5 played the "student canteen" FPJ starrer on morning. i hope it still exists! these are a gem of a film as they are a part of pinoy pop culture,
