"MANO-MANO" (1964): WISH LIST # 35
In 1964, two kings in their respective field appeared together for the first time in "Mano-Mano." Fernando Poe, Jr., the King of Philippine Movies teamed up with Boxing King, Flash Elorde, then the reigning World Junior Lightweight champion in this action-packed movie. The two met for the first time in 1962 when FPJ did "Apollo Robles." (see Da King Meets Da Flash)

simon, i hope you can make a profile of all those FPJ contravidas through the decades. every one knows eddie garcia and paquito diaz as his perennial foes but of course, there are others like bruno punzalan, vic diaz among others. it will be worth while to see them all in one sort of a reunion on your blog site. thanks!
